Shopping for insurance can be frustrating. We will work with you to select the insurance coverages and limits which fit your needs. How can I get a discount?

It pays to package your home and auto insurance with the same insurer. In addition, some are even offering smaller package credits on their auto insurance.

Discounts are given for:

Safe Driver (SDIP) credits or surcharges will be added based on your past six years of driving experience. Learn more from the Division of Insurance’s web site.

The skinny on auto insurance in Massachusetts

The Massachusetts personal auto insurance market is highly regulated. Rules, rates, coverage issues, and discounts are all subject to a somewhat complicated political process and reviewed by the state’s Division of Insurance annually. These rules changed as of April 1, 2008, however, and Massachusetts began an era of “managed competition” for personal auto insurance.

As the Massachusetts auto insurance program has historically operated differently from programs in other states, the auto insurance market has not been dominated by large national insurance companies. Instead, much of the state’s market share in auto insurance is made up of Massachusetts only or regional insurers that have devoted a significant amount of resources to the Massachusetts auto insurance market.
